  Transport to this resort is really bad. We stayed in Vielha and there is only one bus to the resort per hour. The buses are quite often very packed (they sell seated tickets only, passengers are not allowed to stand on the bus) and they are often late. We waited for an hour in the snow and was told no bus was coming. We then changed to a different stop and waited for another hour as the bus was late. The resort itself is very good. A lot of green and blue ones at various difficulties and they are usually very wide. There are long and short slopes depending on how far you wanna go. Nice food and nice cafeteria area. Everything is so nice apart from the transport.

  Baqueira Beret is the best resort to practice winter sports in the pyrenees, the resort is situated in Catalunya, in Vall’ d Aran, it has some of the most modern sky lifts. If you want to practice skying or Snowboarding you’ve got more than 130 kilometers to do so. You’ll be able to admire amazing views and great mountains, and to live the experience of being in a valley full of life surrounded by a unique and a amazing culture.

  Baqueira-Beret ski resort in the Spanish Pyrénées is ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. Make the most of the 17 black runs, 40 red runs, 42 blue runs and 6 green runs. There is 2,166 ha skiable area. Top elevation is 2,510 and transport capacity is 60,144 people per hour. With 157 km for skiing and snowboarding you can't go wrong.

  Overpriced and archaic lift pass system. The restaurants on the pistes serve worse food than motorway service stations, difficult to do and such a shame as Spain is known for its gastronomy... Don't believe the snow conditions or weather report given by the resort.

  Despite of you get to the resort from Baqueira, there are several small towns surrounded it where you can go to do different activities; lunch, dinner, have a drink, etc. Arties could be the most lively one and is close to the resort.
